Very good, not great

Ordered Wagyu Ribeye. We have had Wagyu from 2 other on-line sellers of American Wagyu. These from Plum Creek compared to prime we have purchased locally at one of our local supermarkets: a nationwide chain of boutique markets. Missing the level of marbling we have found in the lower tier Wagyu from the others from whom we have purchased. Certainly very good. But, not very good enough to warrant the significant increase in price over prime.

Nothing compares

I grew up eating steak. My family raised cattle in a feedlot. When I tell you these ribeyes are the most delicious thing I’ve ever tasted, that means something!

Floored, I only thought I knew good steak. Tried my first ribeye today, and it was amazing. The natural flavoring was supreme. It was tender, juicy, and made me look like a better cook than I am. Trying a brisket tomorrow, and everyone is excited.

I purchased both NY Strip and a Ribeye steaks. I cooked the NY Strip in a carbon steel pan with sea salt and pepper. It was juicy, tender and DELISH. Getting ready to cook a Wagyu brisket, already salivating.
